NUNZIO DEFILIPPIS & CHRISTINA WEIR SIGNING 06/13/2012 AT BOTH COLLECTOR’S PARADISE LOCATIONS!

Bad Medicine creators, Nunzio Defilippis and Christina Weir, will be working extra hard for fans on Wednesday, June 13th, 2012, signing at both Collector’s Paradise comic stores in the Los Angeles. With the success of Free Comic Book Day, both Bad Medicine #1 and #2 are being released for retail sale that same day and as long as supplies last, Collector’s Paradise will offer issue #1 for free to anyone who buys issue #2. See below for locations.

“Pulled out of exile from a dark corner of the world, renowned-surgeonturned-fringe-medicine-eccentric Doctor Randal Horne must return to New York City to investigate a tragic research lab accident that’s left one man dead, and inexplicably headless. Now with the help of a distrusting NYPD detective he must diagnose whether this strange case was truly a random act of misfortune or the first calculated move by an invisible psychotic murderer.”

“The CDC takes on the occult, led by a genius doctor who’s literally haunted. Weir, Defilippis and Mitten usher us into a very strange world…and it’s going to be a fascinating journey. A terrific start to a compelling series.” Kurt Busiek

Other works available at the signing by Defilippis and Weir are Play Ball and Avalon Chronicles: Once in a Blue Moon Vol. 1. Both of these graphic novels were just recently nominated by the Youth Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), for the 2013 Greatest Graphic Novels for Teens List.
