Scott Chantler

Scott Chantler is the acclaimed artist of Oni’s graphic novels
Days Like This (which was listed by the ALA as one of its "Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults" in 2004,)
Scandalous (for which he was nominated for the Russ Manning Award in 2005,) and the writer/artist of the
Northwest Passage series (for which he was nominated for both the Doug Wright Award and the Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Canadian Cartoonist.) He is also a popular commercial illustrator, whose past and present clients include McDonald’s, Reebok, Macy’s, Kroger, and Wiley & Sons, as well as such publications as
The New York Daily News,
The National Post,
The Toronto Star,
Maclean’s,
Atlanta Magazine, and
Cottage Life. He occasionally dabbles in animation, having worked on the BBC/CBC children’s series
Shoebox Zoo, and directed the short film
Gone with the Wind in Sixty Seconds, which was an audience favourite at Siggraph 2003.
